Every Cedar post will have some moisture in it. The moisture wants to get out which causes warping. The current posts we are bringing in are dried in production coming from the source and has a “Free of Heart” center which is the best post “makeup”/ “cut” to get to avoid warping. Depending on the area you are in, over time moisture may seep into the posts and eventually want to escape leading to warping over time. However, if the posts are properly installed, the “pull” from the panels will help to prevent warping.
